As a pracademic in music and sound ethnography, I strive to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in ethnomusicology and the performing arts. My research interests lie in sound anthropology, particularly in how different cultures understand, produce, and perceive sound. I explore the cultural significance of sound and its role in social rituals, communication, and identity. Additionally, I examine the impact of technology on sound production and how auditory practices evolve in response to technological advancements. This interdisciplinary approach integrates anthropology, sociology, acoustics, and the digital humanities to provide a comprehensive understanding of the diverse roles of sound in human societies.
